# Meetings

> Capture promises as they come up, one line each.

Start meeting mode before or during the call:

meeting +acme/website "weekly sync"
```

Then type one line whenever something comes up:

› > pricing deck to @ravi due:thu
› < design files from @meera due:fri
› budget approved for phase 2
›
```

| Line starts with | Becomes |
| - | - |
| `>` | Something you owe |
| `<` | Something you're waiting on |
| anything else | A note, saved to the inbox |
| an empty line | Ends the meeting |

When the meeting ends, Keel shows what it captured and asks before saving.

>
> A line Keel can't read, for example one with a missing date, is never lost: it's kept as a note in the inbox, ready for `triage`.
