# Browser terminal

> The same terminal in your browser, with autocomplete and a theme switch.

```bash theme={null}
keel serve
```

Open [http://localhost:4242](http://localhost:4242). It runs the same commands on the same data, and adds:

* Suggestions as you type, the same ones as Tab in the shell.
* A preview of a new commitment before you press Enter.
* Clickable refs: click `c12` to see it.
* A light, dark or auto theme switch at the bottom right.

![keel serve in the browser, showing today](https://mintcdn.com/nouisi-keel/sst1BK9maBaSb4mF/images/keel-browser.png?fit=max\&auto=format\&n=sst1BK9maBaSb4mF\&q=85\&s=6944b3d82500dc4673d732e6f9cae07b)

It only listens on your own machine. Stop it with Ctrl+C. Use `--port 5000` (or `KEEL_PORT`) for another port.
